SquarePoint Consulting LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the MyFirstCar website at myfirstcar.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding that information.

We keep data collection to a minimum. Here's what we gather and why.

When you visit our Site, we (and our third-party partners) automatically collect certain technical information, including:

We use commercially reasonable security measures to protect the information we collect, including HTTPS encryption and secure hosting. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
Our Site provides educational content about cars and may be of interest to teenagers. However:

- We do not require account creation or request personal details from any visitor.

9. Your Privacy Rights
9.1 All Visitors
Regardless of where you live, you can:
- Opt out of interest-based advertising (see links in Section 3.1)
- Disable cookies through your browser settings
- Opt out of Google Analytics (see Section 3.2)
- Contact us with questions or concerns about your privacy
9.2 California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):
- Right to know โ You can request details about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
- Right to delete โ You can request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to correct โ You can request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out of sale/sharing โ We do not sell personal information. However, the use of third-party advertising cookies may constitute "sharing" under the CPRA. You can opt out of this sharing by using the advertising opt-out tools listed in Section 3.1 or by enabling a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal in your browser.
- Right to non-discrimination โ We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
Categories of personal information collected: Internet/electronic network activity (browsing history, interactions with the Site), device identifiers, approximate geolocation (from IP address).

9.3 Oregon Residents
Oregon residents may have additional rights under Oregon privacy law. We are committed to complying with applicable Oregon statutes, including the Oregon Consumer Privacy Act (OCPA) when applicable. Oregon residents may contact us to exercise any rights available to them under Oregon law.
9.4 Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control
We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a valid opt-out request for the sharing of personal information with third-party advertisers. Some browsers also offer "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals; while there is no uniform standard for DNT, we strive to respect your privacy preferences.
10. The MyFirstCar App
We promote an upcoming mobile application called "MyFirstCar." The app is a separate product with its own privacy practices. When the app launches, it will have its own privacy policy that covers the data it collects. Using the website does not require you to use the app, and vice versa.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
